Why does resin turn yellow over time?

Was curious about this, any advice would be much appreciated.

I have been using Delta Resins for a long time and have not noticed any yellowing, and I get to see my old repairs often as fleet are my main customers. It could be down to lack of cleaning and preparation.

Because its not Deltakits resin.
