Hey everyone,
I'm really stoked about my new flyer. It's a 5x7 that nextdayflyers printed for me for a great price. Thick cardstock and a uv coating. I adapted the style from the in the chips guy and it's working well. Here's the flyer, please be brutally honest so I can make adjustments for the next printing, and if anyone would like the .pdf photoshop file I'd be happy to share.

Looks good, but sorry. You have told almost the truth, but you worded it wrong-not all will pay for the repair(State Farm, etc.).
Change it!
I tried this 20 years ago the first time, and spent a lot of time picking them up off the shopping center lots after getting THE call.
Good luck, hope it works for you

Well, thats true and it's usually very easy to deal with. I offer discounted rates if their insurance co won't pay. I also spent time putting these on empty cars in parking lots but gave that up years ago. I present these directly to the customer if I see a chipped glass during my travels. I also cold call and business with at least 2 cars in the parking lot and it works very well for me. Just today, along with my fleet work I added 2 insurance jobs and booked 2 more for tommorrow. Paid off the investment for this batches cost in just 2 days. Works for me!! BTW, Semper Fi !! Go 0331's !!

Congrats, this looks good, well done.
The one thing I wouldn't have done is:
''Guaranteed FREE''

I am with Frank on the word FREE, I had a banner yrs back with the FREE to you, "Ask for info inside" and the customer wanted it FREE, Not to run it through his insurance, or pay for it... Some are anal that way....
The Cards look great otherwise... Good luck with them.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and suggestions. i dont have a big problem with he free wording and so far most people understand if the are Statefarm insurers. I do offer a sf discount that makes them happy. I will however think hard about the issue as i dont ever want to seem misleading. Thanks!

I agree with the others about the word "FREE," being used as a lure when a majority in my state dont have full coverage. The flyer looks good. Iam always looking for a hook that makes me appear more honest than just being a shrewed business person. People use that method all the time, and make money, but Iam more reserved. Can anyone on here suggest a better approach when using flyers or placing ads. I have not seen one local glass replacement shop use the word Free in their ads for replacement or repair. I do see it at the local auto parts stores being used by fly-by-night repair people. Here today, gone tomorrow, with un-happy customers, that I see on a weekly basis since I live here. I suppose if you live in a large city it would be more readily accepted by the public. I do like your approach to generating customers. I pass out flyers to anyone and everyone that will take them. You never know where that next repair will come from. Once I figure out the correct combination of words to generate a interest (hook) I would use something like you printed. Good luck.

I use flyers that say, FREE WINDSHIELD REPAIR, and underneath that, "with qualifying insurance". I don't recall ever dealing with someone that expected or demanded the service for free, with neither themselves of their insurance company paying for it. If I did, I would politely excuse myself and go on my way.
I never just leave my flyers anywhere. Also, I don't give one to everybody I talk to.
I say, hello, I'm Gary Bell with Glasspro Windshield Repair, could I please speak to the owner of that red Chevy truck? The reason I asked, I'm out here working and I noticed a rock chip like this on your windshield, (pointing to pictures on my flyer), did you know chips like this can be repaired to save your windshield from cracking out and it's USUALLY free?
Left unrepaired, it CAN turn into a long crack and you're faced with the much higher cost of replacing your windshield.
I can repair it right now with a process that's guaranteed to save it from cracking out and, save you the much higher cost of replacement.
You can pay me directly, (again pointing to flyer that shows pricing) and I take credit and debit cards. OR, THESE INSURANCE COMPANIES, (listed on flyer) waive deductible and pay for the repair so there's NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE FOR YOU. The way this works is, we'll call for authorization and they will speak to you and verify that your deductible is waived and there is no cost to you. The call takes about 5 minutes, all we need is your insurance card and we'll make the call.
NOW, if they cut me off saying they're not interested or seem hesitant or unsure, I never pressure them. I say, I understand you're busy right now, could I leave you my information? FOR WHEN YOU DECIDE TO HAVE IT DONE. These few words are important because hardly ever does anyone not say yes to this because they think they are getting rid of you!
This is where I can continue to finish saying what I have to say and end it with, here's my contact information, I'm available nights and weekends.
Many times they will turn around and say, "let's get this done now".
i GIVE CREDIT AND THANKS TO DAVID COIT, "COITSTER", FOR THE FRAMEWORK OF THIS PRESENTATION, ESPECIALLY, "FOR WHEN YOU DECIDE TO HAVE IT DONE"
