Can you guys explain to me your exact step by step process for repairing a 8" crack? The crack started from bullseye break in the center of the windshield. I'm a bit confused on how to remove all the air in the crack.
This is the way I was explained to repair it. Create it mini bullseye at the end of crack and repair it as normal with repair kit. After the resin has flowed to its farthest point cure with mylar. Then repair original bullseye and cure with mylar. The area that didn't fill I was told to rub resin bottle over it and cover with mylar. I tried this and it didn't look very good. There was quite a bit of air in some spots. Not real happy but it is on my own vehicle.
Please explain in detail from start to finish. Thank you.

Re: Crack repairs
There's a lot of discussion here on the board about this so use the search function. There are also some good videos that DK provides on their site as well. As far as the posts go, pay close attention to the guys talking about the Qtip method...this is the one I've had the most luck with. Good luck!!!
