Hey guys, i would like to get started in the windshield repair businness, and would like some help. I have no experience, therefore i assume that i need to go to a training class. I live in Louisiana, is there anyone around here that does training. Also do you have recommendations on different types of kits and how to get set up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

First off, don't "assume" you need to go to a training class, Steve.

Assume that you do.

If you can't find someone in your area to train you either for zip or for a fee, a training video is a piss poor second unless you combine it with a lot of practice.

And, whose forum are you on right now?

I suggest one or more of Delta's equipment.

They provide good choices and they provide excellent support.

And, as Repair1 stated, read, read, read this forum including the archives.

Everything you need to know is buried in here, somewhere.

A warm welcome to the forum Bushwack. I second both desert stars and repair 1. Read it all. You should have been in Austin, TX, this weekend for the Delta training class and then you would have been able to go out and start building your business on monday. :)

Jezzus, Coitster.

Do you NEVER stop being the nice guy?

I know we talk a bit in private emails but I still don't think you really exist in person or other than some virtual reality, computer-generated 3D ghost formulated by the likes of Mel Gibson or Billy Graham.

I'm gonna make you drag fourteen dumpster-headed replaced but repairable windshields through Rome's ancient main drag and then nail you to a cross at the top of the hill with Delta injector sets unless you stop acting like the poster boy for Krispy Kreme donuts!

(Delta will like that. Three more sets sold assuming we cross your ankles. Better yet, four if we don't.)

Just remember that I'm the person who suggests drilling almost every repair.

Jeff,

How do you ever expect to get Delta products branded on the "Big Screen?"

Mercedes released their SUV line via Jurrasic Park. The least Delta could do is fork up a few injectors to crucify someone in a large budget movie. Imagine how much longer Spartacus would have "hung on" if he had a Delta UV blocker!!!
