Every feel like nothing seems to go right for you sometimes

I went about my ussual cold calling and discovered that today, I was going to have to go through more no's today then I normaly go through in an entire week. #-o
Next I I had a little self talk with myself, first I got a little angry

with myself and then I started having my usualy pitty party.

{|= I know, cry me a river

. You would think that after I butted my head up against a wall so many times ](*,) I would just say heck with it and start giving the customers the =; talk to the hand routine whenever they told me no.
I know, [-X shame on my for thinking that, I knew that I just had to keep at it, besides don't tell anyone :-$ I had someone riding with me today so I just couldn't be a looser and quit.

That would just be wrong, so I sucked it up and still wound up making $250 today, :-& I know, I am sick to my stomach about it, but hey, even on a bad day I guess its not so bad. Remeber everytime you are having a suck day #-o just keep it up, and also a little [-o< praying helps too. I just know that I better not have another day anytime soon that bad.

Otherwise all that self talk will just have to go away. [-(

Hey David
you are not alone my friend. This week in the UK has been bloody awful. Wind, rain, sleet, snow. Not very good for our job is it?. ](*,)
Another month, we will be into spring and the big earnings will be back again.

It just goes with the territory.
How many times have you gone out there cold, and just can't give it away?. I just go home after a couple of hours and start fresh the next day.

Hey I was stationed at Mildenhall every day the weather over there is crummy (our word for bloody awful) Of course I grew up on the beaches of california but now live in a place that reminds me of the UK I was happy that yesterday was sunny and a warm 30 deg when I finish brushing of the snow this morning I may go to work.

Coister lets just say you worked 8 hours. I know you never work this long but hang with me. You made $250.That would be about $31.25 an hour. If you worked 6 hours it would be $41.66 an hour. I never even worked a 6 hour day when I rode with you. So even on your bad day you are making more then a whole loe of people and not working as hard.Sorry you had such a bad day.

$250 bad day

Hey Keith,
I know man, #-o I am just used to doing better. I have to call myself a looser every once and a while. [-X Shame on me for gripping about it.

{|= I have to be able to give a sob story once and a while. :-$ Don't tell anyone but I know I can do better and regulary should.

What's a better day...
#1 really really windy and cold... frozen fingers... three or four miserable hours, but $365 profit.
#2 really really nice (in comparison) sunny and maybe 50-60 degrees. But kinda tool it easy and enjoyed the warm weather and made an easy $120 and chatted with the guys and watched b-ball on the showroom tv.
I sure would take a few more day #2s

you have hit the nail on the head. Lets stop griping about the weather and appreciate our industry for what it is and for what it gives us. Freedom, Job satisfaction, Great earnings (I hope), and start feeling sorry for those guys who are stuck indoors in a boring, mundane thankless, poorly paid excuse of a job.
We are so fortunate and so lucky.

Eric I could not agree more even if we only work 20 hours a week we can still earn more than most working 50.
Got to keep smiling it makes you look stupid but feel good.

Stop crying, David. You're beginning to sound like a white version of Ray Charles without the soul food or soul music background.
At least learn how to play the piano and walk around Texas for a week or two encumbered with a blindfold and a candy-striped tapping walk-stick before you'll get any sympathy from me.
Next thing I know, you'll be giving advice and training people for nothing.
Don't tell anyone but Jeff gives me six drops of resin for each of my posts.
(That's between you and me. Anyone else finds out and I'll know where it came from.)

Ray Charles would be terrified if he saw me dance. \:D/ And btw I don't do training for free anymore, my wife put an end to that really fast. [-X
I will still give advice for free though. Oh wait, then I might be nailed up by some delta bridges on some wood shaped like a T #-o , Did I just say that. #-o
