I don't know if this is true elsewhere but in Colorado if an Allstate customer goes through their insurance for a windshield repair they WILL lose their No Claim discount if they have it. So yeah. Just a heads about that when you have an Allstate insured customer.

Not sure if they will ding the customer no claim status for a WSR.
Some will and some don't.

In San Diego county - Esurance want to see the chip or crack before and will not pay for the repair after.

In the SW Riverside County area of SoCal I've had about 4 repairs in the last year where approval was delayed a half a day but always came through. One customer admitted that the repair had already been completed when the approval call came to him so they immediately recinded the approval and I had to go back and collect cash from the customer. I can't imagine any insurance adjuster or fraud investigator has the time or budget to personally see windshield damage or repair.

Who are they sending out to see the damage? It wouldn't surprise me if they send a Safelite rep.

They say they send an adjuster.
