Had an interesting thing happen saturday at the Car Wash I work with. The owner lets me walk the line of waiting cars and sell myself so im walkin and see one of those funky bubbles on a pathfinder hand the girl my brochure and start the meet and greet only to be told Windshield World fixxed that for me last week. I look at the thing its one of those bubbles with little or no damage on the outside and a nickle sized hollow spot ,no cracks or rough edges just a big ole hollow spot. I look at the girl and her mom (Burlington is a college town moms here for Easter) First I realize this girl is the hottest thing to come anywhere near the Carwash for about a year so maybe it was the old dog in me that heard myself say "pull over for a minute and let me fix that for you it bugs me when another shop does a cruddy job I will do it for free so you have a good feeling about windshield repair" HUH? was that my voice? Anyhow it looks like the guy just stuck a injector on it and presured but since there was no break on the outside he was wizzin in the wind. I broke out the drill put on the injector and watched that sucker dissapear. I mean GONE! if it wernt for the spot where i filled the drill hole even I wouldnt have known where to find it POOF!
Im thinkin huh what was the Windshield World dude smokin? To make a long story short she leaves happy about an hour later shows up with her roomate who is equaly fine and hast 3 breaks on her Mbenz SUV I call in the insurance to ACT and fix em it seems the Windshield World guy had told them both they couldnt be fixxed and used the vanishing bubble as proof, again HUH? After talkling to her mom for awhile about my being a artist and doin the windshield buis to support myself she talked the daughter into poseing for my next scuplture mom wants to buy me lunch and the girls want to bring a couple more friends in with thier cars next week. Thank You Windshield World! :P :P :P

Hey, good one, GlassStarz!

You performed a service for the entire w/s repair industry.

The question is whether or not you would have done the same if she had looked like a wallflower at the senior prom?

In that case, drop the GL from the front of your name and stop operating under false pretenses.
