They used to work in the old days and still do in areas where they haven't been beaten to death.

I wouldn't use them in my area simply because they've been beaten to death.

Those who use it here are bait and switch and maybe, I hope, the consumer is getting wise to those con artists.

I'm not surprised by the results. I think that most people see those signs and it conjurs up an image of a cheap gimmick.
