Maybe the NWRA could get in contact with environmentalist groups such as the "Sierra Club" and enlist their help in the issue now going on in Connecticut.

It seems to me that this is an issue that would interest these groups. If this proposal takes place, the increase of needless windshield replacements would be tremendous and these groups are against polluting our environment.

They also may have lobbyist that might have some connections in the legislature.

Just something to think about.

Dont know about the enviro groups but I do think its funny that the resulting law in CT is essentialy the same as the policys followed by several of the bigger replacement guys already. The Windshield World And Safelite guys in my area already tell the customer that repairs can not be made in the wiper area. They tell the customer its not safe and the insurance companys wont pay if they knew the the break was in the wiper area. Stopped of at the Post Office the other day a Triumph guy was giving this same spiel to a customer in the parking lot. He already had the glass out or I might have stepped up.

Scott,

Please take no offence by me saying this. As I said last week I wouldn't comment on this issue again but this subject keeps poping up!!!!. My question would be? Why don't you just become a member and suggest it to the board? That's the only way your voice will be heard. I don't think we have a voting majority interest within this forum to have any say in what's going to happen with our future. We probably could if we wanted too but nobody is willing to commit!

I think everybody on here has already made a decision one way or the other as to what they plan to do. One way..... is wait and see what happens....and the other is to join, take a small financial risk and help change what happens!!! If you take the path of of wanting to support these efforts....then support. If not, just let our future be quided by the current members of NWRA and hope for the best.

To me this is a dead issue right now. I've already made my choice to join and won't push anything more on the rest of you. Now, it's basicaly what you guys want to do as independents.

We've already discussed this NWRA thing forever............it's time to stop talking about it! Getting very boring!!! If you think joining is a good idea...then join. If not, then don't.

That's all I have to say.

Hey Brian,

Yes those where pics of all the cars I raced. I seen Kurt had a decent qualifying spot for this weekend. I know the rookies are up front but that doesn't mean a whole lot at Fontana. Just want to see some Roush cars up there at the finish. I predict a top 5 for your driver.

Have a great weekend!
