Did a job for a lady today. Saw her name on the insurance paperwork, called in to the insurance/network for the referal number. When I got home, there is another name on the fax sheet

Now the signature on the invoice doesn't match the one on the fax sheet. Is this a problem?
Paper work, paperwork.

Not if you use the internet billing they have on SGC. Just submit it over the internet and if there is a ? you can always call them back up for the signiture that matches.

Talbert,
I wouldn't worry about it. Many times I have somebody other then the insured sign invoices. Never had a problem. The important information is Vehicle, Vin#, Date of Loss and authorization#.

Also, if you use a 3rd party EDI provider, it's unlikely that Safelite will ever ask for or see the signature anyway. As long as you're doing the work on the insured vehicle (proper VIN#) it really shouldn't matter who signs for it.
