Can anyone tell me what the best lube for long crack repairs is. I have tried KY works well kind of expensive Vasoline works but what a mess to clean after was going to try white lithium grease but am not sure. Any idea on what will let my tools slide yet be fairly easy to clean up.

In terms of per repair how much does KY costs, I must admit that my technique for long cracks means I do not have to slide a bridge, but that is something I will have to show another day when I have more time.

Try hand lotion, Curiel works very well for me.

I use "Klein Tools Premium Synthetic Clear Lubricant" . Lube for pulling cable thru conduit. $16.00 Canadian for a quart at Home Depot Canada. Cleans up easily, water soluble, does not harm rubber or paint.
Cheaper in the USA......$9.00/qt
