I have a fairly new Jeep that I just noticed has bubbles all around the edges. This seems to have occurred very recent as I never saw it before. Do you all think this is a defective windshield and should be replaced before it gets worse?
( Still under warranty)

Would love to see a photo of the bubbles, but I would suggest that if it is under warranty that is the place to go.

Looks like delamination to me, I have seen a few that have done that, I don't think that it will weaken your glass enough to worry about it and probably out of warranty so dealership would probably not honor it. Unless I was just overly concerned with the cosmetics I would drive it until something else caused you to have to replace it.

I see now that you said it is still under warranty, then I would request to dealership for a replacement. Not that it will be covered, but worth a try.

I took it to the dealership as I had a scheduled oil change today. They said they could barely see it and that they don't do windshields. It's a third party and that third party would have to look at it.
I kinda' got apprehensive about them touching my windshield at this point. Since it's not an in house job.

Definitely a delamination problem during manufacture. Over time, water will seep into the delamination and turn the interlayer ( PVB) back to its original colour i.e. opaque white. The only resolution is to replace the windshield.
