Windshield Hail Damage
I searched this forum for "hail" and all I found related to PDR.
My question, after reading my own auto insurance policy, is "Do insurance companies consider windshield damage caused by hail the same as if by rocks, etc? Can I treat wsr by hail the same?
Re: Windshield Hail Damage
Usually, yes. Rocks from the road, hail, etc., are not your fault and should not be held against you. Each state is different, so simply call your agent and ask to be sure.

A chip is a Chip they dont interview the people to see if the rock was quartz, granite or ice why would they care?
the big problem with Hail is often the car is dinged everywhere as well a couple years ago my buddy bought a Volvo with 3,500 miles at a auction as a total for $3000 with Hail dingleberrys all over it (maybe 1300 in all) but the glass was intact? looked like someone had taken a ball hammer to it
