Custom Business Cards
Custom Business Cards
There are many different types of business cards out there. Some people believe that they only need the basic, plain business card with their standard information on them, which is fine.... for them.
I, on the other hand, wanted something a little more unique (not a lot more). I recently custom designed my own business cards. I wanted something a little different, and got many of my ideas from this forum. I do not have any data on how well or how poor they will work for me in my area, but I did want to share my design with all of you. http://www.motivemagic.com/Business%20Card%20Sample.jpg
I ordered my business cards from http://www.overnightprints.com/ and they allow you the ability to design your very own cards. I chose to design mine using Microsoft Publisher and then saved the design as a JPG file and uploaded it to Overnightprints.com. They offer a great price and do not charge extra for multiple colors. I paid just under $90 for 2,000 business cards printed in full color, front and back (included shipping). They also give you the choice of glossy or satin finish, at no charge (I got glossy on the front and satin on the back. I chose to design the complete card myself. Although, I do believe they offer choices of different backgrounds that can be used, if desired.
Does anyone else have images of their business cards that they would care to share?
Joe

Re: Custom Business Cards
We have designed nice rolodex cards with our business cards, really works, stands out in the rolodex, laminated and doesn't get stuffed in a draw. I will be happy to send an email sample if anyone wants to send me an email to wsdocs@sbcglobal.net The company was http://www.koolprint.com they design it for you free, shipping free. Good deal. I tried attaching it to this post but it wouldn't let me. Nice job on your business cards!

Very nice...
Re: Custom Business Cards
Thanks for all the compliments....
DaveC, I decided to add the proper pronunciation, because I didn't want anyone pass me up and not call due to their fear of mis-pronouncing my name.
I really do get a kick out of people trying to pronounce it at stoe check-out counters (like Sam's Club and the grocery store). I always know when somebody trying to call me at home that doesn't know me (like telemarketers and what-not)....

Wow! I really butchered that post. I should have proof read it first. Trust me, I don't talk as bad as I type...
Corrections:
"...I didn't want anyone to pass me up..."
stoe = store
"...I always know when somebody is trying to call me..."

I do not have cards now ( I know I should do ) but when I did have I had them printed on plastic like credit cards. They seem to last longer and are less likely to be thrown away.

That Companiee looks good. I just requested the free samples as I want to see if the card stock is the same as what I have now. The price is great.
