Big Bucks In Free Advertisement

Ive been doing windshield repair for about two years now. and what a hard start. The first three months i made a total of about 2500. And in vegas thats not much. I was going to used carlots and companys that had 10 or more cars in thier fleet and not having any luck. So I started to post flyers with ten dollers off on bulletin boards in laundry mats and in churches and boy did it take off. I also went to the rv parks around here and posted in the clubhouse the same flyers. and now on a average weekend i can make anywhere to 200-500 at the rv parks. So if your having a hard start try this out in your town and who knows you just might be smiling like me. good luck to all. SHELBY

So you are obviously doing mostly cash jobs? How much do you charge after the $10 off?

my reg price here is 50 bucks, but on my flyers i have in big letters free windshield repair with qualifying insurance, I use the coupons as bait and it seems to work for me.

Just curious Dragwurm,

Are you giving "free insurance repair customers" $10 back?

NO but that might be a good ideal for repeat customers.

I'm happy to hear that you said "no". Please never do that.... or anybody else in repair because that's exactly what has killed the glass replacement industry over the last 7 years. To many glass shops offering $50 back when customer has a "zero" deductible. If insurance companies start seeing us offering money back on a free repair....guess what will happen to all of us? They'll start paying us less because they think we can afford to take less. Think about it;)
