nga / nwra certified ?
Question: How many of the members of this forum have taken the time to become NGA / NWRA certified?
Re: nga / nwra certified ?
NGA doesn't promote windshield repairs and NWRA doesn't have a standardized repair method ... so the answer for everyone here is no since we don't have replacement techs frequenting the repair only board.

Actually we have plenty of replacement techs who frequent this board. At least a couple of those I know are NGA certified.
Delta Kits, Inc.
Re: nga / nwra certified ?
it has nothing to do with standardized method it does have every thing to do with basic procedures to repair a windshield/screen and whether or not NGA promotes repair or not all i can say is i am in posession of the NGA auto Glass Repair tech. manual. So Please explain how they can provide these manuals and not promote windshield repair?Jeremiahswindshieldrepair wrote:NGA doesn't promote windshield repairs and NWRA doesn't have a standardized repair method ... so the answer for everyone here is no since we don't have replacement techs frequenting the repair only board.
Re: nga / nwra certified ?
Jeff and Matt have more info on how NGA fights against repair people. I can't personally think of a way that the NWRA could come up with a method that would incorporate all styles of machines and give a more uniform and certifiable method of repair. I haven't given it much thought but off the top of my head I don't really see any way.
