I have been reading this forum for about two months and must say I am very impressed with the level of knowledge and helpfulness I have seen.
I just started in WSR and am looking forward to a great second career.
I have already taken some of the advice from here to land a fleet account today. Here is what happened : I went to the local Dodge dealership and gave a pitch I learned from the forum. I was told "we already have a guy" and "He charges XXX for his repairs" I told the sales manager that I couldnt meet or beat that price but I offer a Lifetime guarentee and I live in town and can take care of him weekly.I sold my self as a "home town guy" and after talking for a few minutes I quoted him a price that was five dollars higher than his guy. Know what? He said he would like to give me his business !!! I'm going back tomorrow to bring do-nuts and seal the deal..ie what day how often he would like me to come out .. ect.

I had a simular experience at the Chevy house... Couldnt get him to commit but he did say he would use me as his "back up" guy.

Thank you all very much for the help you didnt even know you were giving.

Bravo, stick to your price, you are worth it. My competition's price for chip repair is FREE. I charge $40 more than them and have all the work I can handle. When you do quality work, the price should be reflective of that. The WSR techs that are undercharging are hurting themselves more than they know.

Merci
