What UV light do you use?
re: correction
I have been looking for a good UV light that is battery operated, durable, small and effective. I have used probably 7 different lights and have found one that I like ... unfortunately it is not manufactured any longer. Any links to websites would be appreciated.

We use the new Glas Weld Pro Cure 360 degree curing lamp. Cures in 60 seconds. Also have 4 of their tube lamps.
Re: What UV light do you use?
I use the lamp that came with my kit. It is a DELTA 40-1 Lamp. It is 10"L x 3"W x 3"H. Mounts with suction cups. Very good UV intensity. It uses 6d batteries or can be used 12V. It is nice becusae it gives you a large curing area if you are doing lots of cracks. The downside to it is it is a little bulky and batteries are expensive. I would recommend this style lamp if you are strictly mobile as you may not always have access to an alternate power source. It does a great job. I myself will also be looking into the smaller curing lamps soon since I mainly see stone chips and would like to down size a little. I guess the main factor I will consider in my next smaller lamp purchase is the UV intensity.
Just my thoughts.
Pay it foward,

Re: What UV light do you use?
Bfenne, I have that exact light as well. It is indeed a bit bulky and the batteries are expensive. I put all my tools in a carpenter style belt and carry them around when I do fleet accounts. My current light fits in a pouch on my belt and is convenient but it isn't very intense and batteries don'to seem to last long. I iwll check out the glasweld system though.
Re: What UV light do you use?
I use the dual tube light from US Windshield...I liked it so well I bought a couple more. Glasweld and Liquid Resins have the same lights. At $100, they are not cheap, but I think they are a bargain. They are not cordless, but you can work all day off a portable jump starter battery if you want.
9watt dual tube
Hmmmm .. that light looks different than any I have seen .. I may give it a shot.. thank you much

MeleeECI... the rightlook light is actually the U.S. Windshield Repair light that I use. Rightlook just resells it for an extra $40. It's your money, not mine.
BTW, since this is Delta's site, I think they have a simiar model too,... I noticed a picture of one in their catalog.

rightlook light?
In addition to the lights that we have at www.deltakits.com/dki/ultraviolet-lights.html, we have the long crack repair lights that have 16" bulbs, and also the dual tube lights. Both of these lights come in 115v or 12v.
