WSR ordered, and on the way!!

Post by flippen »

Greetings everyone, I am a longtime lurker of these boards. After thinking long, and hard, I have finally decided to order a EZK-101 kit and begin some WSR. I have worked at a GM dealership for about 8 years now as a technician. I see mobile techs that come around our used car lot regularly, and seem to be doing pretty well. I had a talk with our used car manager, and told her I was picking up the trade, and she asured me I would have all of her business. I wont be quiting my job anytime soon, I plan on doing it on the side for awhile, and see where it goes from there, but I am pretty psyched about the whole thing!!

Just wanted to introdued myself, as I will be turning to these boards with any problems I may incounter along the way. I have found these boards very informative on many areas of wsr.

Hi Kevin, I work at a Chevrolet dealer here in Seattle. Same thing, I was writing $100-$200 purchase orders a week for wsr. I talked to the used car manager and general manager and they said " No problem you can fix ours." Too bad the owner told me no way because it was a conflict of intrest...We don't do wsr repair we sublet it out I told him... To bad I don't want an employee doing "side work". (snibble snibble) It still is working out OK. I solicit customers who come in and use my contacts with the local shops. Good luck. I would like to know how it works out for you. I started 4 months ago and just now made enough to pay for my EZK-101.
