looking for the best resin
Hello Just a Newbie question, Has anyone compiled a list of resin manufacturers that give out free samples? I find it very difficult seaching the internet trying to find the best resin for myself. A list or website addresses would be very helpful. Thanks in advance redgmc
Re: looking for the best resin
Delta Kits resin is the best hands down..... I have used 3 different sample resins Glass Mechanix,Liquid Resin Ect....and I like Delta Kits Premium bond. And no guys it's not because I just got back from the training. My suggestion would to get as many sample resins as you can and use them on a practice shield to see what you like best.
Thanks

Red,
While a full list would be nice, several of the WSR manufacturers have asked Delta to not allow their company names to appear in this forum.
However, a quick google search for "Windshield Reapir Resin" results in many of the big manufacturers/players in the industry.

I use Glas Weld resin and am very happy with my results. Don't know how they compare to the others in price but they are worth it. IMO
Re: looking for the best resin
Delta Premium Bond is excellent. I prefer the aroma of Delta resins versus other competitors that I have used for years. Now if Delta could just take it one step further and put a nice fragrant aroma (perhaps a pine-tree scent) in their resins. That would be the only way to improve on the Premium Bond.

Re: looking for the best resin
I have gone though many thousands of bottles of Delta Kits resins and have never had a problem. They work well in all circumstances I have faced which is doing repairs in the snow (actually snow falling on me) all the way to repairs above 100 degrees.
