We are new to the business. We are in Mississippi. I am shopping for insurance quotes now. Can anyone give me an idea how much coverage I should carry and what the premiums should run. Just two of us working.

There are a couple different types of coverage. Most people who do repair only don't carry garage keepers, since they don't move customers vehicles. Also, Lynx & Safelite require $500K coverage, so I would imagine that's the most common.

You can get it through RLI for $150-$275/year, depending on your location.

There are other companies out there that offer it, but quite a few guys go through RLI.

I just got liability insurance thru statefarm. It is $500K coverage. I had to give an estimated annual income and it is $240.00 a year. I will be audited at the end of the year to see if I meet that goal or made more then it will go up think if I make more. I set annual low of $15,000 to start. they just tag the amount to my auto insurance.

Got mine through Zurich Direct. Paid $340 for 1 million. Cheapest I could find in my area. Where in Ms. are you located? I'm in the north east part of the state.
