Thought I had seen everything!
Today I was brought a small chip on a neon little bat easy fill no drill 10 minutes I was done. also on the drivers side directly in front of the drivers view was an enormous divot she tells me Triumph messed up doing a repair about a year ago and didnt make her pay. MESSED UP? it looked like it had been a bull about the size of a quarter and they used way too much pressure and the thing had exploded outwards there was lterally a cone shaped divot 3/4 of the way to the laminate on the outside and domed to the center almost as large as 50 cent peice she told me the guy offered to give her $50 off on a $400 replacement he felt so bad(yea right). I filled it as best I could. In an obvios technician screw up not just a crack out while doing a repair Iwould have ate a replacement myself and im just a little guy if Triumph cant step up to the plate with thier volume seriosly what does it cost them $65? maybe. What a dork! My Grandfather taught me to stand up and take your punishment but i guess some never learned that valuable lesson WIENIE!.

Wow, he really offered a bargain.... only $350 for a Neon w/s that they normally install for $150 at a car lot. Pathetic....

Does this 50 cent size, distorted old repair in front of the driver still pass inspection?

I wouldnt think so I honestly have to wonder if the guy did it on purpose to sell a replacment. Its down low but in front of the driver most inspection stations would fail it. I filled the divot and tried to make it more presentable but its as big and ugly as Rosie Odonnell.
The point I was getting to is I have seen replacment guys stretch things a little to sell a replacement but this is the worst and this lady was a single mom working a minimum wage job to make ends meet and no extra cash to pay for uneeded thing I felt really bad for her
