Bringing on first part time helper

Post by scratchy »

Well it looks like we are turning another page in WSR. We are bringing on a friend part time to help cover a few hours a week and when things come up and we have to be out of town. Thank you Delta, Coitster, Jeremiah WSR and all the rest of you regulars for helping us get to this point! If it wasn't for you all, we would have never made it this far.

Congratulations scratchy!

Are you hiring him yourself, or as a subcontractor?

We're bringing him on as a subcontractor and will be dispatching some work to him that comes in as well as having him hand out cards and do some door to door as needed. We are looking at about 8 hours of work a week. Not full time by any means.

Thats a good idea. Trust me I have had lots of employee's in the past and it just didn't work out for me. They would work hard for a few weeks and then it would fall appart (that is if I was paying them hourly). So doing a subcontractor agreement is good.
