State Farm renewal

In Washington state all renewals effective June 1,2005 do NOT cover windshield repair. I was under the impression this started December 1st but I have confirmed it with two local agents. Might be worth your time to verify in other affected states before giving away free repairs or going back to customer and collecting. To clarify... if a policy is renewed in May, that policyholder is covered to the specific date in November. When renewal comes it will be cash out of pocket.

The letter I received in Michigan from State Farm also indicated Dec 1st, before this new policy goes into effect. You might want to give Steve Shaw at Lynx a call to clarify what you heard.

I would call Lynx to confirm. It's been my experience that most agents are ill informed as to policy changes.
