Lets keep it civil...

Post by chips1144 »

Why do people have to revert to name calling and bashing when they dont agree with someone else's opinion???.
Ive seen it happen a few times on different forums over the years, It can poision the Forum and it seem's so negative, then the thread gets closed to calm things down as per the Cash Customer subject.
WE ALL LOSE...
That 6 page thread created some real interesting thoughts, It may have been the best thread in years, Lets face it, Money is the number one issue on most people's minds.

Just because we have differing opinions doesnt make the other person wrong, we all come here to exchange idea's and LEARN.

I also think we should let Brian Speak, I might not wanna charge Brians suggested price but Id like to hear his opinions and ideas, we have to keep our minds open.

Jeff it might be nice if you could edit the name calling or remove the posts
completly so as to keep things rolling...

Delta gave us this forum, lets not screw up a good thing...

My Thanks to EVERYONE !!!!

Chips1144,

I'll admit that I'm the guilty party for having this post closed. Sorry for that everybody! When you mentioned Jeff as moderator closing these post before they come to a boil......have to remember he can't stay up 24 hours a day to watch all our forum activity. (especially with a new born).

Everybody is untitled to their opinion but should also never expect no rebuttal to their opinions or statements made. I would simply state "stay on the porch if you can't handle objective responses"

Name calling? Lets get real here! How can you possibly respond to a post without making some reference to the postie? It doesn't take using a name to disclose who your response was directed too. So what's the problem with naming people? If they don't want to be named.....simply don't post!!!

Last but not least here's my open opinion about this forum.

There are so many talented WSR people sharing great help and info on this site freely! Unfortunately when I don't agree with some feeds or read some BS I'm always going to respond. That's just me! I know at times I should be more sensitive with my responses and try not to offend anybody but when you break things down, why should I sugar coat things to put myself in a position to be untruthful? I just can't do that!!! Brian....if I offended you
sorry but I simply don't agree. GlassStarz I like you but way to many of your responses are always sexual in nature....think you could work on changing that?

That my opinions for the day.....except them or kick me out the door!!!

I personally would rather have someone tell me what he or she thinks instead of sugar coating it, however there are ways to do this without pissing everybody off. I have been hanging around this forum almost from the beginning I have seen some crap that just gets me boiling. I have found that if I wait a day to respond I will usually post a better reply. I think the rule

I always say my piece and it tends to tick people off too, but the difference is I don't mind when people isagree with me ... even if they get rude about it. I would rather have someone be honest and rude than dishonest and sweet.

No matter how wrong Starquest is he still can say what he thinks hehe
