I need a pep talk guys

Post by BmwJunkie »

I dont know whats going on with me? I am getting really discuraged. Here is the situation. I am going out every day and pulling anyware from 3 to 5 jobs, cash jobs that is. Thats pretty good right? But when I get to that 5th job my brain kicks in and says lets call it a day, Im really lazy like that. I want to see how many I can get within an 8 hour period. How do you guys push yourself and get that negative thinking out of your brain? I know some of you have tricks. And I know some of you will say"Just go out and do it". I know its not going to come easy, but I really need to kick this habbit of quiting when I get a certain amount. Thanks for letting me ramble on.

Set really high goals or find something like a new BMW, cut out a picture and put it on your dash as a constant reminder of your goal. Decide how many repairs you need in a month to have extra funds to take your significant other on a cruise. Set Monthly repair goals and try to reach them in 3 weeks. Then take a couple extra days off. Then set even higher goals the next month.

It seems your goals are to short term and easily met. Work toward certain goals instead of a certain income. Just one way you might consider. Good Luck!

Hey there is nothing wrong with hitting a satisfaction goal I do it all the time couple hundred bucks made for the day forget it im off $1200 made for the week and its noon on thursday dude looks like a long weekend to me. This isnt always the case but lets face it most of us do this so we have the time to do something else the 40 hrs a week guys are dumb. I left the house at 10:30 today took care of a couple car lots made $275 quit work at 1:30 sure you can make a bunch working 8 hrs a day but why bother? isnt that the very reason you started doing WR?

Hello everybody. I've been mia for awhile from here. Robin Hood is dead on on what I do everyday. Although I'm only doing wsr parttime, I have the same mindset as Robin Hood at almost everything I do. If I don't, I'll get bored and probably quit. Aim high....if not high enough, set it higher. :)

Bmwjunkie, stop being bone idol and lasy and think about all the nice things you can buy those people around you if you just set your sites a bit higher. I extra job a day at $40 will add $9600 to your turnover in a years without significantly increasing your overheads. Pep talk over.
33,000 + screen repairs over 18 years and still learning.

Bmwjunkie, wrote this post over 3 years ago and since then, has never wrote another one, so I'd assume he either no longer does repair or didn't like the anwsers.

donsf49,

If you pulled up a post from 3 years back, you've surely have read many of the others along the way....haven't you? If you hadn't... it's time to start reading more because the answers to your questions are aready here!

Take care and good luck!

I'm sorry, last post by Bmwjunkie, was 6/05 so I stand corrected in stating it was over 2 years ago.
