How did he do it?

New to bus., Ordered kit today! I recently had a chip repaired at a tent style location. I gave tech. my ins. card and walked to McD's for a coke, it's HOT in Louisiana. 15 min.s later i returned- truck was ready,I signed invoice and that was it! It is my understanding policyholder must always be present to speak with an ins. agent, network rep.,someone. I know this is the case with ACT and all the paperwork i have recieved from the networks say the same thing. So, how did he get around all this? PS: three weeks later i recieved a survey from Allstate asking how he did.

Allstate doesn't require a customer phone call. Most others do.

Several Dont require act to have the customer on the phone Liberty mutual is one
