New to the game

Post by ricochet »

Hi folks,

I'm a laid-off telecommunications technician, after 20 years of service, my career was outsourced overseas, and many jobs now require military or secret security clearances (which I don't have). Even my new Associates of Science in Computer Networking can't land me a gig (they always want more, like an A+ certification). :eusa_booh

I must learn a new trade quickly. Windsheild repair is one option I am considering. Other possibilities include:

1) Power Washing
2) Blind Cleaning

Any ideas or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Windscreen repair is a great business to be in I would sugest like most business the ability to sell yourself is a must when starting up, if you can do this you will succeed.

Power washing now that is a dirty job can be regular but still dirty and wet and cold in winter.

Blind cleaning how do you see what your doing.

Ricochet,

I have seen some people use windshield repair as an add-on business to something else. The two combinations that I have seen the most are...

Windshield Repair and Residential/Commercial Window Cleaning

Windshield Repair and Mobile Oil Change Service

Who knows... maybe with your back-ground you can start a new trend...
... Windshield Repair and Telecommunication Services.

Just a thought.
