Good banner source.

Need 6'x10' WSR banner and looking around for some better pricing. So far every sign shop in my area is quoting prices between $450 and $500. Any good sources to share?

Thanks,

Thanks for your response Brian,

Your right....a 6' x10" is a slightly large display! It's going on one side of a full GMC Express Van held in place with suckers.(little suction cups) Why do I need it this big? Basically because after reasearching stationary set ups for the last 3 months in my area....I've found out the bigger WSR banners seem to attract the most attention and receive the best results. I want this set up to really stand out while also looking very professional. Professional, is the only image I want to adhere too. If I ever get the extra funds together I'd seriously launch up a huge ballon 200 feet up....promoting WSR. Never seen one of these in my part of town (for WSR) I know it's costly but believe me.....I'd be the first to attemp it and take a chance.

I do have my fleets, rentals and dealerships as a great base but for some reason it's really starting to bug me with all these new yahoo tent sets ups comming around my area. I'm at that next step in WSR where I find myself becoming uncomfortable with new competitors crowding my space. So I need to do something real quick and market impressively before it's too late.

Honestly, this is my very first attemp setting up stationary in this biz but I truley believe once I'm fully organized.......I'll kick some serious butt!!!

Starquest,
Another source you might try is this website: http://www.colorbannersonly.com. They charge about half what most places charge and give you your second banner at 1/2 off (and you can choose any color combination--even full-color pictures) If you use them you should upgrade to one of their better vinyls for 10 -20% more because their cheapest is like glossy paper.

Thanks for the link Glassfixer,

It's so weird that I can order a 3x10 banner for a $100 but when I ask about a 6x10 banner the price goes through the roof! $400+.

I might just consider two 3x10's and velcrose them together;)

Starquest,
The velco idea isn't bad but it may be better to find someone who could sew them together like an upholstery shop.

We took our canopy walls and cut them down and lettered them. They are 10 by 8 or something the matieral didn't want to take the die we used is the only problem. (My brother the artist wanted to do a free hand thing) Honestly they turned out very nice and professional looking. The canopy
(premier brand) has velcro on it so I just put the other (hook) on the top and added a few grommets and voila 3' by 9.5' signs. Steve worked his tail off on the art work and then the sewing and etc.... Next time we'll just order the things :) They arn't as big as you wanted StarQuest. I personally think 6' by 10' is overkill, J M O. Scott
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.
