HANDS DOWN!!! We have tried virtually everything on the market and there is only one we will use. Loctite 312. Here it is from Equalizer.

If you are with the IGA, you will get a better price than shown. This kit will do more mirrors than you may even want to do. In warmer temps, the bond is strong enough to hold the mirror in about 15 seconds. Colder temps, a good minute. Just make sure you point the nozzle on the primer towards the black dot on the rim. It will start spraying crazy if you don't keep it there.
(hope the link is OK Jeff?)

Don't want to spoil your money maker, but I do it no charge, costs pennies, and brings life long customers. Maybe 20-30 per year. Loctite is the only way to go-buy from a glass supplier, not retail.

We also do not charge. We even advertise this as a free service in our TV commercials. In the summer, we can do as many as 20 (or more) per day!!! Some are existing customers. Those that have never used us before now know the exact locations of our shops. Guess where they now come when they have a question about auto glass. Also get A LOT of repairs and other work on the spot. With less than $20 in product to do 100+ mirrors and less than 2 minutes time each, it pays off many times over.
If you are out and about and see someone with their mirror missing, stop and introduce yourself and offer to put it on for free. 95% of the time the customer will be more than happy to let you do it. Don't be surprised when the customer initially is weary of you and wondering what the "catch" is, but just assure them there is none. Just hang on to your business card and to give you a call in the future.
FYI: Watch for this when you are walking dealers lots. Dealers really appreciate you putting them back on.
P.S. While you are holding the mirror bracket on the windshield and you are waiting for it to set up, make sure you take a quick glance across their windshield. Just don't be pushy if you find something!!!!!! Customers do not appreciate that and if you just told them there is no catch, don't give them a reason to distrust you.
