Hello all,
I need some suggestions on invoices, I thought about going to staples and buying generic invoices, I also have the option of printing invoices with my quickbook software wich makes it a little easy to keep track of paperwork, but that is really all I have....open to suggestions
thanks

Re: Invoices
thanks for the input, after discussing it with my wife that will be the direction I will take.....I do have a question about disclaimers, are they necessary?
Re: Invoices
I make my own with MS word using landscape. I have it split down the middle and have a copy on both sides. I print up enough to cover a weeks worth of work at a time. I have the disclaimer and everything there including my little "logo". It does make sense to keep your costs down but I like to have my "logo" on everything to try and establish name recognition.

Re: Invoices
I did a custom invoice with logos and all the info I wanted to track on it in Quick Books. I carry a laptop and portabe printer in my truck. This way I can just print of the invoice at job compleation. I can also input payments right away. I find this works geat as it reduces paper work at home. I can also print off statements when they have been "lost in the mail". I do my banking while on the road also and QB gives me all the deposit info. For me it a tool I wouldn't do without! WE have the technoligy, dont be affraid to use it! Hey in the states you can get network cards for satalite Internet. I would think it would be great to upload an invoice after jobs done.
