hello folks.i believe make some great discovery to share.as all of us know when use drill bits for windshield repair the bits dull.i was buy a ultra sonic cleaning machine.when i feel the bits dull i youst place them on the ultra sonic cleaning machine.after the treatment: voila!!amazing!!the bits came to work as good as new.note:this only work with normal wear and tear of the bits.i belive this not work with burned or broken bits.this is some details of the machine,and is cheap.cost me around $50.00 dollars.also excuse me for my words because i live over the caribean.good luck and believe me in my 10 year of doing repairs this is my best discovery for save some chips.This ultrasonic Jewelry and Eye Glass Cleaner is a quick, economic, chemical-free way to clean anything from jewelry to electric shaver heads. If your drill bits are getting loaded up your drilling laminate and thats bad

Bits also get loaded up when re-drilling prevoiusly "repaired" breaks. Cheap resins are hard on bits, it only takes one or 2 holes to fill a bit. Good tip, keep the lines of communication open, the more we share the better we get.

I keep two dremels in my toolbox - one with a new bit and one with an old one for drilling out old resin for touch-ups or whatever.
This isn't any kind of big expense - Home Depot has (or had) a green Dremel mini-mite that they sell in a golf club cleaning kit for about $10. You have to swap out the collet.
I like the idea of the sonic cleaner - sounds like it would have many handy uses.
