Re: Headlight restoration
BillD yes I was given his contact info. I guess if I wanted a sales pitch I could call him. Fact is I still wouldnt see what his stuff could do first hand. I don't see any problem asking someone who is 10miles from him to check it out, do you? Personaly I think someone who has a vested interest in promoting a product may have a clouded neutral opinion on that products merits. I also see no problem in trying to get venders who have a great product, out to a venu as the MTE. On this forum you see people asking for marketing advice. Well the MTE is an EXCELLENT marketing avenue. The intrest expressed on this forum regarding scratch removal, and plastic restoration show WE ARE THE MARKET! Show up and promote to us. I have spent over 10K at the last 2 MTEs. It is where I met the Delta guys, and saw first hand how dedicated they are to their customers. I met the manufactures of my PDR tools, where I could touch and hold what I had only seen in a cataloge. I have bought from the MTE venders because they have shown that they are there to support me, to make this industry stronger. I therefore will support them. There were manufactures there who do not sell direct. They showed the benifits of their products and directed you to one of their venders if you wanted to buy. I have no problem waving the flag and hope others will to, if it makes the MTE bigger and stronger. Rent a booth, show your products, Pove them and YES ILL BUY IT! Then when someone asks the question on the fourm you know Ill have no problem saying "hey I bought this kit and heres why" JMO

Moble Tech Expo. It is in Orlando each Jan. It is a show geared to moble people. It is a fantastic avenue to see new products, look at add on busness. Meet people who do what you do and compare notes, great for networking.

Re: Headlight restoration
No they don't get yellow on the inside. It's always on the outside. If it doesn't seem to clear up by working the outside, you need to get more agressive and get deeper into the plastic to start with... to remove all the "bad" plastic on the surface.
Sometimes there is some kind of milky film on the inside of certain cars, often Cadillac and Buicks for some reason. It's a different issue... doesn't need polished, etc. I've never seen a Neon with this btw.

Re: Headlight restoration
Thanks for the info. Around here its a real common thiuing for neons especially neons to get really yellow
Re: Headlight restoration
You can usually spot them at night. As for the Cadilacs and Buicks, on some models the lens is held on with clips, remove clips, remove lens, clean inside and re-assemble= one happy customer.
Merci
