Show us your wheels
Show us your wheels
Having just purchased a new car, I took advantage of the lack of surface imperfections caused by winter abuse and spent some money on lettering. After 3 days on the road I have recieved 6 phone-calls by the people following me or beside me at the lights, and been stalked by a few poeple who foillowed me until I stopped, to have me fix there WS. I would say thet the lettering will pay for itself in the first few weeks. One element that may be of interest is the "no replacement" circle. To translate the rest on the bottom of the doors it says "yes it can be repaired" (the answer to a commun question), top of the doors "the repair specialists", on the rear fender "mobile service"(not much of a translation there), and the rear window, stars, half moons, bulls eye's, cracks of any length, and scratch removal.

Repare-Brise photos can be found here:
html/repare-brise.html
Also, we've had past members put up pictures, so you can find them at html/
I've put a link to that page at the very bottom of every forum page and it's called "Member Photos."
Anyone who has photos of their signage, vehicles, tents, etc., let me know and I can get a page put up for you!

Yvan, nice choice in vehicles. I couldn't wait for the HHR to come out so I got a cobalt(same platform, different body). The sunburst metallic looks great on the HHR.

Jeff
Thanks for posting the pics, but I think the licence plate blurry was not required(lol), theres enough info in the pic to find me.
Car goes well, is fairly economical(only 3800 kms so far), and gets looks.
Enjoy

Great lookin' ride, but I couldn't find the Volvo logo anywhere...
Re: Show us your wheels
If one can't adapt in life one must move aside, I chose to adapt. Newer Volvo's(disguised Fords, and Mazda,s) are far from what they used to be. I couldn't afford to keep a newer Volvo on the road(well I can, but my concience won't let me be robbed blindly), so I chose a trendy little car that will be relaced when the warrenty expires, unlike my other cars that were purchased when the odometer had passed the 500k mark(just broken in for a RWD Volvo) and require little more than oil changes and the odd break job to traverse another 500k .
Enjoy

I just wish I could read it. I think I got the "no replacement" part.
