Is there an over the counter polish that is equivalent to those sold by Delta and other companies? Thanks, Jon.

Hate to be the crazy salesman, but I gotta ask...Is $6 per 150 repairs really too expensive? I mean, even if you found something for half price, instead of 4 cents per repair, you'd be looking at 2 cents.

Anyway, what we sell is a type of plastic polish. Will you find something as good over the counter? Nope, but you can probably find some type of plastic polish somewhere for less. Then you just need to decide if it works good enough for you and your customers.

If I could add to what Jeff has written, the manufacturors have spent countless hours and dollars testing to find the best product for the job. What some companies use is an over the counter product that you can certainly purchace localy, others make(or have made) there own mixture that best reacts with there resin. You should use the polish that is sold by your resin supplyer to assure the best results for you and your customers. Having done extensive testing myself, there are some over the counter products that work well, but there is little or no cost savings to be had, and the products sold by the "big 3" are better adapted to there resins than any over-the counter plastic polish. In a pinch though, a polymer based wax(polish) that is billed as a swirl remover will do the job.

how about a cheaper source for drill bits 10$ a year is just way too high LOL

how about cheaper postage for drill bits. They put a small pack of bits into a 4"X4"X2.5" box with a bunch of paper and charge $8.00 S&H. When they could be put into an envelope(even a padded envelope) and be mailed much cheaper.

I'm in the process of tabulating my total suppy usage for the past year.I plan to make one or two bulk orders to do for the whole coming year based on what I used this past year.This should save quite a bit in S & H, plus getting a better price for buying quanity.
