For those of you who are members of the lynx and sgc networks you might want to take a few minutes to log on to their networks and review your account information. I signed up through ACT many months ago and for the most part all the information was correct, but I found many errors.
First the Lynx network had my hours of operation wrong. Also they had me listed as a shop and not mobile only covering my zipcode. In order to be considered a mobile service and expand my service area I had to enter my repair vehicle information. Then it allowed me to list my service as mobile and expand my service area beyond my zipcode.
This was a few weeks ago and I am starting to receive referrals outside my zipcode now.
SGC Network was similar. They had me listed as a replacement shop covering a 5 mile radius. I had to change that to mobile and repair only as well as change my service radius and repair hours.
I don't imagine SGC will help me much considering I have a safelite within 5 miles of me but I do get a good amount of referrals from lynx.
Just an FYI

Thanks for the info. I read with interest your comment regarding SGC. Since I use a third party to convert my invoices to EDI and forward to SGC, I recently noted that one of my submissions was not recognized on the website some few days letter. I emailed SGC and got a phone call. It was requested that I submit my invoice directly to SGC. I was advised that there would be no charge.
I submitted another invoice directly to SGC and $6.00 was deducted from payment. I am still using a third party for my EDI and am awaiting the outcome of these latest submissions. Should they fail to recognize these latest third party EDI submissions, I will begin to suspect their integrity in their relationship with the insurance companies.

Re: Lynx Services members
Jeff all we can do is make sure that we have our info update to include our entire service area. The larger your service area should increase opportunity.
Re: Lynx Services members
I have mine set pretty big of an area. Just seems weird that I don't very many and I know my car insurance company says they get quite a few calls about repairs. Oh well not much I guess I can do about it.
