A special Thanks to Delta for offering free factory training!:eusa_clap
Is anyone planning on attending the Feburary training in Eugene?
My wife/business partner will be attending with me as well. Any great sights to see near by?
We are getting their early on Thrusday so we might go down to check out the sea lions on the coast. Any feedback on local points of interest?
Thanks Tim

Re: Oregon Training in Feburary
Hi Tim!
The beach is always a good choice, assuming you can get there with the flooding and mud slides we've been having. The sea lions you talk about, you can see at Sea Lion Caves (http://www.sealioncaves.com). If you've never seen them, it's fun to see it once.
What else...
Plenty of things to see along the coast, some of the best sand dunes in the US (Woohoo!
)
There's the Newport Aquarium in, you guessed it, Newport. Pretty cool. http://www.newportaquarium.com/.
There's skiing/snowboarding an hour in the other direction at Willamette Pass.
In Eugene there are quite a few microbreweries if you're in to that sort of thing, plus all sorts of college hang outs (University Of Oregon).
Most things around here are currently underwater.

No matter what you do, I suggest you have the lunch buffet during your lunch break at the training. Make sure you get at least one bowl of the corn and crab chowder... WOW. I may fly back just for that. All the rest is good too, but the chowder is a MUST!

Yes I do agree with JAC the clam chowder was outstanding! I would like to thank Delta kits for offering this free class. I attended in January and it was well worth the trip. The instructions and hands on training was great, also the information passed on from other students was good. Thanks Matt and Tammy for your wealth of knowledge.

OK the class is a few days away! Anyone going down or up. I see that the class is full. I'm really excited. Bringing hip waders and umbrella. Looks like rain has blessed Eugene for quite some time.

Eh Jeff...Will you ever take your training road show to michigan or possibly ohio? I live across the border 30 minutes away from port huron michigan.I would consider driveing to ohio. Sorry .. flying is out for this guy. I am really interested in getting some sort of certification to show prospective customers in my new bizz. thanks
