I read a prior post where someone was using an easel and watching tv in their house while doing practice repairs.

For me it would not work, the practice pieces I have recieved tend to drop little pieces of glass.

Also, the resin I use (Delta premium bond) is fairly smelly which *I think* would fill the apartment with that odor.

Inside might not be the best idea. The resins have a slight oder to them. You might not like the smell inside after a while, unless it is very well ventilated. You best bet would probably be to get a windshield and take it outside or go to a salvage or junk yard and ask the owner/manager if you can practice on a totaled vehicle.

I think if you go to a replacement shop and ask them for a windshield they recently removed from a vehicle, they would probably give you one for free if you tell them you will refer replacements to them, since you just do repairs.

Good luck!

Sounds like a smelly idea to me too. That stuff really lingers.. never mind what your better half might say.Better throw a blanket in the dog house just in case. But seriously though I would be practiceing outside also for real world experience. I know that I will.
