The quebec gouvernament has accepted windshield repair as a viable service. Starting soon all inspection stations will recieve notification that repairs are now accepted for all motor vehicules. For the repair to be accepted there are a few requirments, first it must have a writen life-time, transferable warrenty, have a smooth surface(a lot of techs neglect pit resin which leads to wiper degridation), be accompanied with an invoice that shows the vehicule 's VIN # and the location of the repair. They are allowing the consumer to decide if they can live with the repairs visual aspect(what! people can decide for themselves, wow!).
