Screenman,
Do you use or have ever used a dry star along a crack or how do you remove moisture from a crack?

Yes I do use a drystar and I think it is a great tool. However my preffered method for drying out long cracks is by using compressed air. This I find is by far the quickest method, make sure you do your drill stops first though.

One of the reasons why I prefer the drystar over the torch for drying most damage, is due to the fact that it only heats a small area therefore this area will cool quicker. The blow torch seems to heat a larger area and that area will take longer to cool. Both of these methods can and will crack screens if not used properly. Although this is not a problems as we all know a nice clean new crack is really easy to repair.

Screenman,
Are you using the cans of air like you use to blow off a computer keyboard or are you using an air compressor? Please explain. I am trying to visualize this and understand. I do many NEW cracks but have passed on some that had been wet.
Thanks

Other question: for Long cracks which is the form step by step to repair them?

Thank's to everybody forum!!
