Hi phils windshield repair.. well business stinks down here it seems like all
the aftermarket guys are giving it away. wr is tough.. some guys are running around doing repaire for 5.00/ 10.00/ 15.00.. some glass shops do it free. i am 30.00
i am currently hooking up to ins networks.. phone book.. adverting retail
i refuse to give it away!! in n.j. it was much different people spent the
monet on cars with all that said i love it here .. its a challenge
by the way i grew up in mich the winters are much better

Eh Mr.chip.I was wondering if you have other profit centers to make a living by to get you by when W.R. is that competitive down there or do you just do it part time.

Thanks mrchip for the support however I can see right now that I am gonna have to do some selling/educating of potential customers about w.r. due to a lack of knowledge by the general public regarding w.r. up here.Selling was never my strong point.I generally preferr my work to sell itself but i realize that that is not going to be enough.I am going to have to develope working relationships with ins' agents and a glass replacement facility or two to swap repairs for replacement referrals as I know that there is going to be a lot of cracked up glass that I cannot repair coming to me.I may investigate getting into replacement if there is not enough repair work.

HEY TOAB..there is plenty of glass repair available.. the trick is to get it...
im not a great salesman either so sell yourself put a smile on your face
be pleasnat/look prefesional /have a positve attitude even when they say no
as long as they take a business card it says to come back and backand back
persistance.... glass shops can be very good.. i had 5 glass shops i did work for ..also sign up for ins networks....never give free repairs out...

I'm hoping for positive responce for the glass shop idea.I have my uniforms done.I'm busy fixing up a service van and renovating a damaged garage that I bought. my wife is looking forward to my startup because it means off with whats left of my 80s mullet.Whats left meaning the top left my head a few years back.LoL
