Quarter sized chip with two holes.

this may be a dumb question but I have a customer who want's a chip repaired, the size of the chip doesn't worry me it's the 2 small holes that I'm concerned with, should I just cure one of the holes or cure both and then drill lightly?

You sure can. I've done that many times when the chip size was bigger than my quad ring. You can also try to fill one and scrape it and use the other to fill. or you can cover the second hole with your fixture and fill the repair with the first one.

I have already couple repairs that it seemed like it was a double chip. Before, I would fill both pits with that thick resin, then I would drill a tiny hole, and start filling the cracks. Then I tried a different approach: I would tap lightly on both breaks to open them up, then I would just start filling one up, and the other would start filling by itself.

It you use pit resin to fill the large hole, before drilling a small hole, will this fill the legs of the crack? How do you keep from resin flowing into the legs when filling a large pit first, then drilling before setting your bridge?

Clearview..Makes perfect sense to me..resin in the first hole and air out the other hole.

all done and could not be happier, I put pit resin on the top of the chip cured it, drilled it and filled it, came out great....the only problem I'm having is billing Safelite electronicaly through edirect, so I'm hoping Monday I can get some answers from eDirect, other than this it has been pretty good doing electronic billing.
