E-Direct Glass

Well.............it has been almost 2 weeks signed up. And what a coincidence that we have not received one call or electronic dispatch since. Before that we have had 3-5 per week????

Thanks for the feedback. Have you updated your Metryx profile to reflect your electronic dispatching capabilities? Have you called eDirectGlass for tech support?

Or was this your first stop?

Just the opposite for us. We doubled our referrals the first month and if the first 3 days of May is any indication of how the month will be then we may triple or more with 6 referrals in the past three days.

Best move we could have made and the service has been great.

Also we went from just receiving referrals from just Allstate to getting referrals from 4 others insurance companies now.

I like to think that all this good fortune came from signing up with e-direct glass, but with warmer weather upon us this may have played a role in the increased activity. Only time will tell.

I like the software and it is easy to use.

I also had to go to matrix in the beginning and list my point of sale company and edirect handled the rest.

Any Other Secrets On How To Receive More Referrals. I Am Currently Receiving One A Week If I'm Lucky And For Some Reason It Always Seems To Be Metlife.

One thing that help me was logging on to Metryx and updating my information. If you are signed up with lynks and have never went on Metryx that could be some of the problems. You can view your status with lynks, allstate and sf. Make sure your approved and active with all three. Make sure you are listed as repair. Also you need to enter vehicle information if your mobile. Then you must set your service area range. If you haven't done this then your service area will only be the zip code of your business area which can be rather small in the scheme of things.

Once I took care of these things I started receiving more referrals but only 2 -3 a week until I signed up for electronic dispatching.

Thank you Jeff,

We did get our first electronic dispatch yesterday.....but they still faxed the info also. And yes we did contact EDG and LYNX. Everything is setup correctly in Metryx. LYNX advised that our area has just experienced a slow down......who knows.

Everything is setup correctly NOW after you changed the point of sale setting in Metryx, correct?

It seems to me that after you corrected that, you received a dispatch, that maybe that was the cause in the first place.

Yes NOW everything is setup correctly, thank you Jeff again. However as I previously stated LYNX advised that they have had a slow down of claims in our area. And I asked and it SEEMS we would have received the dispatch anyway......whether it was electronic or not. They called as usual, faxed as usual, and then they sent it electronically.
