How to tell if an area is saturated with WR Techs

First I would like to say how great this forum is. I have been scouring opportunities that I could do part-time to earn extra income. I took an interest in WR repair. Been reading this forum and learned a ton of info, I do have a computer sales background and wouldn't have a problem beating the pavement for business. I am in NJ ocean-monmouth area how would I know If this area is already saturated with Techs would lynx or safelite be able to inform me. Having trouble deciding if there is a need for more techs. Or do I just try to outperform the other techs? Thanks for all great tips you have already provided me with.

i left ocean county in jan and it was very crowded with wr techs..but that doesnt mean you cant get work
