BRAVO! BRAVO! I like the way you think.

This industry certainly does have its issues. I do not want this to be looked upon as a cop out but just the reality of it, my reality of it, I worry about things that I can control rather than try to fix the world. Be proactive, take the ball and run with it. Make a call, send an email and get the answer first hand for any and all concerns you have. At the end of the day we only have ourselves to rely on. This is probably not the answer you want but might be the best advice in the long run.

Are you a member of the NWRA?

If you have questions or suggestions, I am very confident that Peg will be more than happy to speak to you.

I have been doing this for 25 years, the problem is is that most insurance companies are constantly changing their policy and procedures. The list I have that was up to date 6 months ago is fairly useless today. They are always shuffling the deck. The NWRA could put out a list but I guaranty it would be wrong in a few weeks and you would be bashing them for an incorrect list. Part of your job is to sit down on a rainy day and start to make some phone calls and find out for your self.

You see, the answer to your question is right there in front of you!
Funny how that happens....

I know there are alot of repair people that think the NWRA is useless but the NWRA does carry some clout in defending windshield repair. There has been a line of discussion on the AGRR magazine forum that is dominated by replacement shops. Here is one quote by a replacement shop " The NWRA is like the mafia, even a hint of doubt about repairs and they will stop at nothing to get ya!" It's unfortuate that most repair people think the NWRA does nothing for them but it seens the replacement guys take them seriously.
