repair systems

Post by all starr »

after doing so much research on differnt systems and training and taking cost into concern. the ezx-121 delta kit seems to be the best bet. i am although concerned with training. i think its great delta offers free traing, but has anyone attended? how is it? do you feel comfortable after training or feel the need to go back. also how is tech support with in the field issues? sorry for all the questions, but i am looking to purchase and jump into this full bore asap. thanks for any advice ..

p.s- will this kit have everything needed to start repairs? or do you recomend adding any other items to have in the field?

I took the free training in Oregon with absolutely no glass experience under my belt. The training was excellent, the trainers were excellent and my whole experience was excellent. I've also had a couple of questions since then and customer support is as good as I've ever gotten anywhere.

I would say when you are done with the training you will feel pretty good about your knowledge, but you will also want to find an old windshield or two when you get home and practice more.

When I went to the training and then afterwards aquired some Delta equipment, I was just going by my research online and the cost (free) of the training. Now after 6 months or so, I don't think I'd ever buy another brand. The service and the equipment I'm using are just too good.

AS,

Support is excellent as fas as I have experienced.

As for the kit, it does contain everything you need to get started. However, I would strongly recomend your adding a moisture evaporator and some UV protection.

DaveC - you mention a "moisture evaporator". What is that and how to you use it in a repair? (Sorry - newbie! Thanks for your understanding!)
