Buy A Kit Or Make My Own

Post by CHRIS »

I Will Be Purchasing A Kit/supplies Shortly And Would Like Some Feedback On What Everyone Thinks About Buying A Kit Vs. Assembling One Of My Own. I Have Read Most Of This Forum And It Seems Alot Of People Use Different Peices From Different Manufacturers. Im Will Be New To This Business And Dont Want To Buy Anything Im Not Going To Use. Any Thoughts On Buying A Kit Versus Just Buying Parts Seperately When Starting Up?

CHRIS, by the time you build a kit piecemeal the price of the pre assembled ones will look very good. Just be sure to get two bridges and dc for mobility, drill is a must, light, most other needs can be met in the field...
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

I would also sugest that you buy a kit, I use GM's equipment I found their kits best suited my needs, but now use Delta's resins with excellent results.
