Frosted Plastic Business Card
Frosted Plastic Business Card
Just saw a cool business card that I think will work great for WR. It is a clear/frosted plastic business card. When i looked at it I immediately thought of a windshield. Only thing is, they are a little pricey. 500 for $285. I don't know if it is worth all that much, but.....

dealers and people in the car business arn't impressed with business cards..it just needs to be to the point...staples or whoever can get you cards 1000 for under 40.00...most cards are thrown in the trash when you leave the showroom or office anythey always make you feel good when you walk in and give them your pitch and they ask for a card and smile at you and then chuck them when you walk out..spend your money on something else..

Good points mrchip.
Those cards cost $67 for 100, mine are bright colored and oversized and are just over $2 for a hundred.

Re: Frosted Plastic Business Card
I have always used gold plastic cards with blue writing. Some of my customers have had them for 18 years and they tell me they are the first ones they see everytime they open their card file. Why gold because it gives the card value. When people give me a paper card the next time the phone rings and I do not have a piece of paper with me I will scribble on it, also paper cards look scruffy very quickly and customers will bin them.
By giving out plastic cards it has been suggested that a customer is far more likely to hang on to it and not trash it the minute you walk out the door.
I just checked my card file and most of the ones in it are plastic, this tells my I am one of the guys that chuck paper ones.
You could save cheap paper ones for the customers you thought were a waste of time. But how do you tell. Work can come from many sources, do not judge a book by its cover.
