What do use to repair easily?

How do you get to a repair easily on the WS? Ladder, stand in the door jam, etc?

I have used all the above. I also have 3' step stool and a tire step.

Last week I had to use a 4' step ladder to reach a break on a Ford F-350. First time other than for big rigs. Usually, a 10" stool works for me.
