If you remember I replied to a post of yours a while back (I think it was you) and thats what I was talking about getting the cold shoulder! I don't know anything about others equipment far as putting it in my hand but have seen pics, and all I can say is I'm happy with Glasweld. Furthermore there was 2 seasoned techs using other equipment in my training class (2 different kinds) before using Glasweld and they sold theres to get Glasweld. Enough said, so how about the Olympics? It comes down to what you want and whats fits you best! Both Price and Quality! Heck if you want, go to a hardware store and make you a kit, thats what half the people do. The more I'm around WS techs it seems they are like construction workers, they don't have the education(real education), nor do they have ability to do advanced jobs so they would rather ram someone with a 15 minute "attempted" repair. :eusa_clap

I'm still lost can some of you tell me what repair kits you are using and let me know if they're any good, and can someone tell me if Glass Mechanix is good or bad, the reason I'm looking toward Glass Mechanix is its in Las Vegas. 1 It's about 5 hour drive for me and 2nd it Las Vegas.. A little party before the adventure while I get training.... Thanks again for any input.

I have GM equipment and it works very nicely. I would recomend it.

Before it gets too far, please make sure not to bash others on what equipment they use, or recommend. It's fine to ask why, but let's keep this professional.

On some of the damage my customers ask me to repair I use a magic wand.

I have used and trained people on about 10 different systems and see very little wrong with the Delta system. I would however just add a plastic Novus style injector for long cracks. This I just slide along the crack rather than slide the complete bridge.

Personal opinion only. I would not like to give an opinion on which kit is better unless I have tried all the others. We can only tell you what works for us.

As an add on to this, I bumped into a so called tech to day that told me his kit was the best shame he did not know how to use it. Big big company as well.

I met a WS Tech at the training who also has the Novus Injector for long cracks as well. He said it works great.

I use the GM and haven't had a problem with it so far, I still want to make it up to Eugene to try out Delta's equipment as well. I think you need to try out a few and see what works best for you. Make sure you do your research to see how their customer service is.

Thanks for the link to the Olympics report, congratulations to all the technicians who took part in them. Also, the 5i repair investigation video was very interesting but alas not surprising, this is just the kind of press this industry doesn't need.
